Hypermobility

Physiotherapists & Occupational therapists for hypermobility

What is Hypermobility?

At Evolving Pain, we have a special interest in helping individuals with connective tissue disorders, such as Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders (HSD), including Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). Whether you’re experiencing joint pain, fatigue, or recurring injuries, our team is here to listen and support you in improving your overall health, reducing pain and facilitating safe movement.

Hypermobility and pain management

Joint pain is a common challenge with hypermobility due to the increased risk of subluxations, dislocations, and other injuries. Our approach includes:

  • Education to understand how your unique body can feel strong and able through an alternative way of approaching movement and managing your muscle and joint pain

  • Improving proprioception and postural control

  • Building functional strength, overall muscle and core strength
